General Conditions of the Limited Warranty for
Laminate Flooring Stair Tread One-Step System
for interior residential flooring applications.
This limited Warranty is offered exclusively for that laminate flooring stair tread one-step system imported and distributed by Jatz International Corp based in Miami, Florida USA under the following conditions:
1) Jatz International Corp warrants the customer that for a period of 05 ( five) years from the date of purchase of the Laminated Stair Tread One Step System the overlay will no wear out nor will the design taint nor fade as a result of the light, either natural or artificial.
This Warranty is subject to the laminated stair tread being used in accordance with the type of application for which it was designed and used under normal interior residential traffic conditions of flooring products to the original consumer purchaser.
THIS WARRANTY IS NOT TRANSFERABLE, this Warranty only applies to an interior residential flooring for enclosed staircases product, this Warranty is expressly conditioned upon submission of proof of date of purchase.
2) No Warranty is extended unless: To make effective this Warranty you have to notify to Jatz International Corp of any material defect within the Warranty period and in any event not later than 10 days after detecting the problem. If the product wears through, stains or fades,Jatz International Corp will at its option replace or refund the portion of the floor (laminate flooring stair treads and risers) in question as covered under this Warranty. This Warranty does not cover labor cost or any other incidental expenses incurred as a result of covered defect.
3) In the event of a valid claim (to be determined by Jatz International Corp) at its absolute discretion Jatz International Corp will replace the panels in the original decor (if available) or in any other design of equal value (if the original is not available) No added value will be covered by this Warranty, based on installation and/or dismantling for flooring planks.
4) Replaced panels (Stair-treads/Risers) are then warranted for the reminder of the original Warranty period.
5) Jatz International Corp shall not be liable to any party other than the original purchaser nor liable to any other party for any other damage of any nature arising out of this Warranty.
6) This Warranty does not cover indentations, scratches or damages caused in any way other than the causes stated in paragraph A of this Warranty. Thus, damage caused by negligence or otherwise or any other cause such as water, erosion, insects, failure to adopt and follow the appropriate and proper installation instructions or improper maintenance or lack of protection, misuse or alterations are not covered by this Warranty. This is not an exhaustive list but is intended to be a guideline to consumers that Jatz International Corp cannot be responsible for damage to the product caused by matters beyond our control.
7) This warranty shall not apply to damage arising from any of the following: Accidents, abuse or misuse, exposure to extreme temperatures or extreme relative humidity, improper maintenance, improper adhesive, excessive moisture of flooding, either by natural causes, plumbing failures, leaks from household appliances, mechanical failures, or urine and trapped water underneath the floor arising out of or in connection with any condition of the sub-floor or improper cleanest of the work area.
8) No claim will be entertained if the area affected cannot be visibly seen from a distance of at least 59" and if it does not exceed 2.5" square area. this warranty does not apply if product (laminate flooring stair-tread One-step system) is installed in areas where condensation repeatedly occurs, or any other areas like exterior applications, unstable/improper sub-floors, areas exposed to excessive tropical and ground moisture.
9) This Warranty shall be void and of no further force or effect if any of the following events occur: The product is removed from the original place of installation,sale of the home where the product was originally installed and unauthorized repairs to the product. No repair or replacement under this warranty shall extend the warranty period.
10) Replacement under this Warranty is the exclusive remedy for any purchaser. Nobody is authorized by Jatz International Corp to create any liability or obligation for Jatz International Corp save as mentioned hereunder.
11) To make a claim under this Warranty, the original consumer purchaser shall contact Jatz International Corp with the proof of the date of purchase. The foregoing shall constitute the exclusive remedy of the purchaser and the exclusive liability of Jatz International Corp
12) The above Warranty is exclusive and in lieu of all other express warranties whether oral or written. any implied warranties which may arise by operation of law,including the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose,are limited in duration to the period of the written Warranty set forth herein.
13) JATZ INTERNATIONAL CORP SHALL NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES OR UNDER ANY LEGAL THEORY, BE LIABLE TO THE PURCHASER OR ANY OTHER PERSON FOR SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ANY NATURE, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION DAMAGES TO, OR LOSS OF USE OF, PROPERTY, DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES OR ANY OTHER DAMAGES ARISING FROM THE ORIGINAL CONSUMER'S PURCHASE. JATZ INTERNATIONAL CORP LIABILITY WILL IN NO EVENT EXCEED THE PURCHASE PRICE OF THE PRODUCT.
14) Upon purchase or prior to installation, please carefully inspect each panel (Stair-tread and Risers) for any damage or visible defect. prior to installing your laminate flooring stair tread system, always carefully study the site for a proper installation and cleaning, care and maintenance of this product.
